ABOUT ME


Hi, I'm Jacquie

I'm a wife, mom, massage therapist, and a yoga teacher. But before any of those, I'm a woman. For years I struggled to find balance between all of those titles. Quite honestly, I think it's an ever-changing balance.

Yoga came into my life during a time of searching. I did yoga DVDs in the past and was no longer working with a personal trainer on a regular basis, I wanted something different. I found a group of older ladies near my small town that held weekly yoga classes, and I fell in love. It was everything I felt I was missing. For that one hour, once a week I wasn't a wife, mom, massage therapist...I was Jacquie, and for that first time in a while I felt recharged, peaceful, and balanced.

For me, yoga means learning to accept. It gives me the space to take a step back and accept where I am at today and where I am headed. It gives space in my thoughts to assess what is important and what isn't.

I opened a yoga studio in my small town, 9 years ago. And for 9 full years I shared my mornings (5:45am eek!) with some of the most amazing women I could have asked for. I not only led them through flows and taught them with joys of yoga, but they taught me far more valuable lessons about myself, as a person and as a teacher. As life has changed and thrown different challenges our way we said goodbye to the in-studio classes in December 2025, and hello to this new virtual world of online yoga classes.

With my cheerful personality (maybe the occasional F bomb lol) you can expect fun, sometimes challenging classes, not only physically but mentally as well. And hopefully you too are able to achieve some peace and balance.
